Title: Sewage smell

I live very near to the KAAN hotel and I must stress, am not accusing them of doing anything wrong.
Has anyone in my area smelled the raw sewage on a regular basis ( approx. twice a week) in the early mornings, approx.  0230hrs?  I sleep with the windows open but when this smell comes I have to shut all the windows.
I have a good idea where it is coming from, but need a bit more ammo before I start throwing accusations about.
Maybe the guests of the KAAN have smelled it and complained to the management.  They are in a position to get something done about it. 
It only happens through the holiday season, never at any other time.

Sounds like they have a macerator for their effluence. We have one on a complex near us and ıt smells when they swıtch ıt on .

I have a Turkish friend who lives the other side of the canal and he tells me (and I believe him) that the owner of a small apart type hotel (near where the cow lives) has a habit of watering his garden at night with the contents of the cesspit !

I think some of the near neighbours have already reported him but he persists in the habit.

Apparently the stench when he does it is unbelievable !

We have noticed that Calis has a  few smelly areas this year... Around the canal and on an evening strong sewage smells around the bars at the start of the prom... The rubbish bins are also stinking around the car park.. Is it usually like this? We havent stayed in Calis in September before.
