Hi, anyone know if any bars/cafes offer free wifi if you buy a drink - we are staying at Calis beach later in September and Im wondering if I should bring my new tablet or will it be easier just to call in an internet café and pay to use theirs?
thanks :-\

Would probably be quicker and easier to list those that haven't these days. I would say 99% of the bars provide wifi now.
-
Yip, all the bars & restaurants we used all have wifi and are more than happy to give you the password to access it. :)

Out here at mo. wi fi is everywhere all bars cafes and resteraunts have it. Most password protected but have a drink they happy to give you it

Only slightly off topic, earlier this year we drove through Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland & Italy.
No matter where we stopped, be it overnight, for lunch, coffee break, sight seeing or just for a comfort break, whether it be a hotel or roadside shack, there would be full & unlimited WiFi access.
The only exception was when we got to England, not everywhere we stopped offered WiFi, if they did, you could only access it with a password but Premier Inn allow just 30 minutes free access per day & then you pay! >:(

thank you for helpful info

More free wi fi over here than in the UK.
-
What annoys me over here (in UK) is that a lot of the free wifi is only available if you subscribe to the restaurant or pubs when you log in. Then you are plagued with emails.
-
Ah I never twigged about that, we were having breakfast at our local Marston Inn and I was waiting to hear from my son when I asked for a password I was told I had to register so did not bother, am glad now that I did not...
Defo seems to be a lot of places in Turkey that offer wifi...
-
Bewva, I've never experienced that. I've registered with lots of bars and restaurants here including big ones like Wetherspoons and KFC and never had emails from any of them. Lucky me!

Me too Toky. However I have joined a few pub chain sites in order to get vouchers, etc.
Done quite well out if them as well :)
-
Ah so that is how those facial hair, rucksack carrying real ale drinkers get the money off vouchers, I often wondered ;) ;)
-
Yep that's Stoop ;)

No rucksack. No facial hair now. Real ale and vouchers I concede :)
