Title: Blackpool airport possible closure

Just heard today that unless a buyer is found that the last commercial flight into Blackpool will be The 15th October.... Our flight is on the 20th so hoping we can get back OK... Jet 2 have promised to help all of their customers..

Didn't know Blackpool had an Airport Anne. Thought it just had a Tower.  ;)  :)

Certainly does have an airport Des, has done for some years now.  Have a relative who lives in Blackpool who uses it a lot for holidays.    Hope someone comes forward to buy it  :o

Given the option, I think I would prefer the 'other destinations'  8)
