Rod Stewart AKA Stuart McDonald, did a gig last night at Lee's Bar for 3C's & had them singing & dancing in the aisles & on the prom. A brilliant night was had by all. 3C's held a raffle, which raised 500tl, & had a collecting bucket, which will be opened & counted towards the end of the week.
A huge thank you to Rod for a very entertaining night & to Lee & Michka & their hard working staff for providing a wonderful venue.

Really enjoyed it once again, even with the power cut . Well done to all concerned. :D
-
It takes a lot to impress us Yorkies but we thought he was brilliant... He looks like he really loves entertaining..... How good is he to do this for local children when he doesn't have too... Best entertainment in Calis for years.. Real talent that is.... Great night...
-
Great night at Lee's bar! Rod is superb and really gets the crowd going! Looking forward to seeing him again, I hope!
-
Just to update, the bucket has now been emptied & contained a wonderful 301.75tl, so total for the night 801.75tl
So many thanks on behalf of 3C's to everyone who contributed & to Rod, Lee & Michka

I thought this was to be held on Saturday?? Was there a reason this show did not get advertised in the usual places, like CBF? Or did I miss something?
-
I thought exactly the same. I did not see anything about this until this post after the event.
-
3C's didn't learn of it until quite late last Friday, though, apparently, it had been on facebook. There is, however, a repeat performance this coming Saturday 8).
-
What about the Saturday after does anyone know I am desperate to see "Rod" ;)
-
This Saturday is the last performance of the season, I believe that Stuart is going back to the UK early next week
-
These gigs are organised by Lee's Bar with the 3C's being invited along to hold a raffle & pass around a bucket for donations. "Rod" is here on holiday & gives his time & performances freely to help disadvantaged youngsters in this area & for that we are very grateful, as we are also to Lee's Bar for giving 3C's the opportunity to raise money for our charity.

Didn't know whether to watch Rod or Ian n Carols Strictly Come Dancing routine. Great night though. ;D ;D

We saw Lee advertising on Facebook and The 3cs didn't know until the Friday evening as Liz doesn't do Facebook... It is up to the venue to advertise on CBF if they wish too but as he isn't on here and it gets packed anyway as its quite small he probably doesn't need to.. There is a board outside his place when Rod or Emrah is on..
-
Another brilliant performance!
-
It was a great night and what a great performer Rod is! He must have been on for over 1 1/2 hours without a break! Looking forward to his return next year!
-
Yes it was another brilliant performance from "Rod" on Saturday. The bucket has been emptied today at Fetav; including the raffle 3C's raised a magnificent 907.50tl.
Once more, our heartfelt thanks to "Rod" & to Lee & Michka.
-
Fantastic - "Rod" must have raised a huge amount this season. Well done sir !
And take a bow Lee and your good lady - it's far from easy catering for that number of people and a takes a huge amount of sheer hard graft. I hope you both find enough leisure time during the winter.
-

-
Yes, they went home on Monday, back in Calis 18th May
