Title: Oh my goodness !!!!!!!

Doesn't time fly !!!!!

4 days left to work this week and four days next week and then we retire !!!!
We fly (one way) to Dalaman with just 3 cases and a dog on 31st October.
Thomas Cook, despite the fact that the plane is only half full won't take more than
45kg each baggage (silly people - why turn away business ? - we even offered to buy two extra seats !!!)
Looking forward to walking Max on the beach on Saturday 1st Nov morning !!!!

Thanks chaps  :D  - I can't think of anything (yet) that would make us regret the move.
We've been holidaying there 3 times a year for 10 years (and never had a meal on the front !!!)
We would have to work for another 10 years to afford to retire in UK !!!!

Looking forward to seeing you both again.
I know it's only been three months full-time, but for me this move was definitely the right thing to do.
If they made me leave now, there's be fingernail marks in the asphalt at Dalaman as they dragged me onto the plane.
I truly hope you and Angela feel the same way when you're here. :-)

That was us 1st Feb 2011 but with just 20kg each. You soon accumulate new junk don't worry. Exciting times, hope you're as happy as we are here. Definitely no regrets for us.

Im also taking the plunge Kevin - fly out on 16th October, with 3 large suitcases and a backpack - extremely excited having retired last week - woo hoo, cant wait

Thanks for all the encouragement chaps - it'll put wind in our sails   :)
We will keep CBF informed of our 'experience' - hopefully all good !!!
Finishing work on the 17th and taking Angela to Amsterdam for 4 days on the
19th for her 55th (which seems to have been overshadowed by the
'bigger event' - we've had no 'looking forward to' time !)

Can anyone advise me of a travel insurance company which caters for one way travel - have tried a few but they all tell me that they dont do insurance for people who emigrate! Thanks for any information
