Title: New Shopping Centre
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on October 08, 2014, 19:46:43 PM
Went  to the new indoor shopping centre today.  Lovely coffee shop downstairs on the first floor. A bit like Starbucks but a lot better, lots of nice sandwiches and cakes and a great selection of coffees.
Also, for the ladies, there is a Beauty Shop upstairs that has a lot of really good cosmetics, all the well know brands and also they have Aussie products.

'Downstairs on the first floor'? Is that like upstairs in the basement?   ;)

We liked the place too, M especially as he could sit outside in the enormous shaded area while I browsed around the shops.

Downstairs on the first floor is no problem if you are on the second floor  :)

When you get to the 4th floor and there isn't one your problems begin.

I found that the lower floor, the middle floor and the upper floor of the Paspatur are pretty much all of a oneness!

I used to like the shops as you come from Ovacik to Fethiye, in the Tasyaka area. But they're going downhill.

I thought that I was pretty level ........headed, but after meeting you lot I am beginning to wonder. It's certainly an uphill struggle to stay on the level.

You'll realise after a while that we're all twisted.

Twisted this way and that, but can we find our way back.   Or would we indeed want to?

I think the shopping center is great, good  selection of shops and the food court has a few great places to eat.The kebap place in the far corner is fantastic.

To be honest there are fewer shops than I expected, with a lot of space in the middle. It was a lot busier outside than inside when I went. I think the Turkish will love the whole set up which is a great, plaza-like meeting place.

I suppose it depends on how great the grates are, the greater the grates are will make the road more grateful.
Great subject this. ;D

It was smaller than the Malls we get in the U.K. but still nice to walk around in the Air Con and we also noticed none of the assistants in the shops follow you about, which was lovely.
The shop with the cosmetics is called Gratis, great selection of all the brands we are used to at home. Also, they have cans of slimline drinks.

The staff in the big sports shop on the 1st floor still follow you around like a shadow. Drives me mad and I refuse to shop in places that do this. Must be my dishonest face !!!

I remember the big shop (well big back then) in Fethiye, was it Ramadan? You had a young lady 1mm behind you for your entire visit. I quite liked it  ;)

We were in Mavi in yesterday  and a girl stuck to us like glue.  We actually walked on behind a pillar and she followed and we doubled back.  We got so fed up, we left.
