Obviously Lance from your post you have had a distressing experience .
So I wish you well and hope your health improves
-
Well Lance, I'm really pleased that you are out of the Devlet ( maybe they are too! ) and I hope that you continue to recuperate at home. Be happy and I'm sure that your mate KKOB will along on here asap. :)
-
Good to hear things improving - hope you're 100% soon. Hate to think what happened to make you discharge yourself :D

My 16 year old had the pleasure of the Devlet in August. I would not take a dog there for treatment.
We bought annual holiday insurance recommended on the Martin Lewis website. He got taken by ambulance to the Esnaf then when I rang our insurance I got to find out it only paid for treatment in state hospitals so we were transferred. The difference was unbelievable. It is a complete dump.
I have now took out a new policy having studied the wording and ringing them to confirm you can be treated in a private hospital and cancelled the other one.
Hope your recovery is a speedy one Lance

My son was taken to the cubicles area and put next to a poor old Turkish lady taking her last breaths with half a curtain between us. The Dr sat at a desk in the middle and people were piling in to sit at his desk and be triaged. Each of them sat about 3 feet from the poor lady giving her no privacy. The place was dirty, the door into the cubicles area were hanging on 1 hinge as the others were broken, windows didn't shut or open properly. It was like Piccadilly station in rush hour. We were sent home and he had to return the following day for tests and to see a surgeon. I had to learn very quickly how the Turkish queuing system worked, ie just push in or sit there all day. He was suspected of having appendicitis. Fortunately he did not have appendicitis and was given anti biotics. I was dreading him needing surgery.

Glad to have you back on the site, if not fully fit but fit enough to post. Sorry to hear how poor the Devlet was, will bear your experience in mind if we need treatment, unless we hear from others whose experience is lots better.

Aw . . We love you Lance! Glad you're feeling better. ;)
-
Glad someone loves me no other bugger does ;)
-
Well done Lance for not putting up with rubbish. Have a hasty recovery.

I suppose we dont appreciate how lucky we are here in the UK with our hospitals, compared to what you've experienced at the Devlet Lance. Hope you get back to full strength soon.
