Title: Fethiye Marching Band finished

The Fethiye Marching Band is due to close down at the end of this month due to budget cuts, all monies now being centralised in Mugla, Fethiye will lose out on many of it attractions in the very near future.

That's a real shame. Loved the band when it was part of the carnival.  :)

Bloody Mugla, putting the cost up of utilities and loosing part of our Fethiye tradidition.

Yes, it is a great pity.  I always thought Fethiye Belediyesi did a great job all round.  All monies from Fethiye now go to Mulga and the local belediye just get what falls off the table. 

Mosquito control, road cleaning and park maintenance have been greatly reduced since March.
