Title: The Most Fitting of Tributes
Post by: Highlander on November 08, 2014, 12:18:39 PM

This has been described as a work of genius. I would find it hard to disagree.

We planned to see it before we departed for Calis but ran out of time  :(
Imagine if they had charged £2 admission for Help the Heroes ?
(Missed opportunity methinks !!!)

We went and it was truly wonderful to see.  I have even purchased one!  Really loved it.  Took the time as well to go into the Tower and enjoyed that too.....

To the Director of the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance:

Very well done sir - another fine tribute to the fallen.

An amazing day full of pride and sadness.

Opposite us a young boy about 8 years old wearing his dad's beret and medals with his mum and nan
A son without his dad, a wife without her husband and a mum without her son. So sad.

The poppies at theTower were a wonderful tribute and an amazing site.

Whoever thought of the idea should be applauded ( and awarded ) and once again

the people of Britain have shown why it's called Great.
