Havas airport bus timetables are posted in the windows of their otogar offices in the 'back yard' of the otogar. We tried to get more detail and were told that they meet all scheduled (not charter) flights.

Thank you both for info.i guess I'm going to have to pay for a private transfer which breaks my heart as iv managed to get everything else relatively cheap...
I'm assuming that a cheap old Thomas Cook flight is a charter flight, not too sure of the difference between scheduled and chartered though I think I have been told before   ;)

Hi Karennina,
As far as I can ascertain the Muttaş and Havaş buses both have the same timetable for buses from the Fethiye Otogar to Dalaman airport: departure times are 05:30 06:45 18:00 and 19:30 every day of the week - see http://muttas.com.tr/hizmetlerimiz/havaalani-yolcu-tasimaciligi

However the times from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye are dependent on the times of inward domestic flights, so it is just a matter of finding domestic flight arrivals and hoping that (a( there will be a bus, and (b) that there will be seats available! If you land at the international terminus you will therefore have to get to the domestic terminal to get the bus.

Following on from my earlier post, my friend is due to arrive at Dalaman via Thomas Cook at 13:30pm on February 19th but I have been unable to find a shuttle service to get her to Calis. If anyone is planning to drive to Dalaman to pick up friends/relatives on that flight and has a spare seat available I would happily pay for the petrol ...

The airport buses go to international terminal too because international passengers collect their bags and clear customs there.

I have found a company called Holiday Hoppa which appears to offer shuttle transfers in Feb and March £15 per person return have not looked at any reviews but worth a look if travelling on a budget  ;)

You will see it behind the main boards as you come out towards the car park.
No...there's a timetable going TO Dalaman but not to Calis.
They go to Fethiye based on the times Turkish airlines and pegasus flights land. You can tell them you want to get off at Gunlukbasi outside Pammukale bus stop, and pick it up from there on its way to Dalaman about 5 mins after it leaves the otogar.

Thanks for the Holiday Hoppa tip Karennina, I haven't come across them before. I have logged on to their site and asked them to confirm that they ARE actually operating shuttle services in February.

I have already booked a transfer with Travel Republic, paid £13 by credit card, and received confirmation of the booking - then a few days later received an email from TR telling me that the shuttle company was NOT able to do a pick up on that day unless I paid a further £72 for the return trip. Needless to say I was not too pleased and, very politely, told them to change their website to show the correct price! British contract law stipulates that we had entered into a binding contract but they do not seem too concerned about that or customer relations ...

I have just translated the Havas link page and it looks like there are only four buses a day two early morning and two evening time, is that correct does anyone know four a day?
None of those will be any good for my flight home would it be worth going to the Otogar and finding out what buses there are, there is another bus service as well as Havas I believe but I can not remember the name of the company thanks for any info...
I had never heard of Holiday Hoppa either Joe just stumbled across them on Facebook, I got my hopes up last week for another company called Transfers only.com booked and paid only to receive an email and a refund to say they only go to Marmaris out of season!
I have been lucky as in one of the members on CBF has kindly offered me to share their transfer who are on my outward flight so always worth asking on here if anyone wants to share, it keeps the costs down and also helps the environment, I hate seeing all the buses and big coaches toing and froing from Dalaman in the height of the season with empty seats though I am sure it is the same at any airport :(

That would be right Karen, and the other company Muttas go at same time, they go in convoy...crazy, sooner or later one will go out of business I'm sure.

That is the one Linda Muttas I agree how totally crazy is that going at the same time, are there any plans for them to stagger the times in the future do you know?
I would defo use them to keep costs down once we are retired, I was so scared (I am Mrs Scaredycat lol!) of doing the Antalya run in December but it was totally brilliant lovely scenic journey with snow capped mountains and brilliant sunshine, fortunately I met a lovely lady on the coach who showed me where to get the bus from Antalya otogar, only downside was we got told off by the driver at the loo stop for talking!  ;)

You scared? Really, I wouldn't have known  ;)
They only go to meet and take to domestic flights so there would be no point them going in between.
Would be fab if they started a service for international passengers but imagine the outcry from transfer companies!

I have just rang holiday hoppa.com and they confirmed they were still running a shuttle service from dalaman to calis running on 1st March so I have booked a return online and they have sent confirmation e.mail.
So let's hope they turn up

Holiday Hoppa confirmed today that, despite what it implies on their website, they will not be running a shuttle service from Dalaman on February 19th so I'm back to square one. Anyway it's good to hear that they, and probably many of the other shuttle services, will start again on March 1st, so the return journey should be okay.

It seems strange that all of the usual shuttle services stop over the winter - I'm sure that if just one or two of them ran in the winter months they would make a fortune from the 200 or so passengers who arrive on every flight from the UK.

Hi Karrenina, did you manage to find out about Ozgur's shuttle service?  I've tried to find the Facebook entries without any luck ..

Ha Linda  :)
Ozgur messaged me a while ago and said the place he had on the 19th has now gone sorry Joe :(
I think he posts on either the Fethiye expat page or there is a shared transfer page I'll double check the page names in a sec...
I was saying the exact same thing to my hubby the other night, such a shame now Thomas Cook are doing winter flights there are no shuttles operating apart from it seems this Ozgur chap not sure if he is a company owner or what...I totally agree re the 200 passengers arriving on each flight surely aren't all getting into private transfers even just a few shuttles a week would be a help...

The page on facebook is called Airport transfers to Fethiye area there are quite a few companies advertising shuttles on that page, there is another one on there called Britishtransfers.com it says shuttles from late Feb early March so you may have some luck with them...
If you put that group name into the search on Facebook and ask to join the group you can check them out and also post asking if there is anyone who wants to share a transfer on the date you are after.
Good luck hope you manage to find something  :)

... Just found out that Britishtransfer.com is a sister company of Holidayhoppa.com (same telephone number and helpline) who have already advised me that they cannot offer a shuttle service on 19th February! Bummer ...

Ozgur Eser. Advertising winter transfers from Dalaman to Fethiye. £10 per person one way on shuttle bus. He can be contacted via his Face Book page or phone. Good reports of his service on the Fethiye ex pats FaceBook page.

Thanks Hazel, I've just booked a one-way transfer with Ozgur (£30/115TL) - so if anyone else is coming in on flight TCX2814 at 13.30pm on February 19th I would be more than happy to share the cost with them!
