Hi
I am after some advice we are coming out in July for 2 weeks and want to book a trip to the mud baths where in Cali's is the best place to book?? Want to know I'm not going to be paying over the odds and does anyone know how much we should be paying for a trip 2 adults one child??
Thanks :)

If you come now, there are free mud baths in Koja Calis
-
There are places on the prom where you an book and also in the Main Street, they have brochures with the trips on. Best to try a couple of them and see which price is best.
It may be awful hot in July to sit in a mud bath. It is something I have never tried and don't intend to. Think I would rather visit the Dentist.
-
We booked with the guy outside exchange shop in main street. Had no problems with any of their trips.
:) :)

Appreciate the poster wasn't looking for opinions but I cannot see the attraction of smearing stinking old mud, to some degree made up of the peelings of thousands of previous visitors, all over yourself. Repulsive idea.
-
Totally with you there Scunner. Anyway it would ruin my Dior swimsuit ;D :-X ;)
-
It wouldn't do my Matalan Bermudas much good either Jacqui
-
MUD GLORIOUS MUD, NOTHING LIKE IT FOR THINNING THE BLOOD!
;D
P.S. The Indians have got it right, a dam good hot curry!
-
Bathing in Curry. !! Sod that.
-
At least you would smell a lot better, tasty too!
;D
-
I'm sure the jeep safari goes to a mud bath as it did when we went, passed on the mud ourselves but enjoyed the rest of the trip.

Jeep Safari... something else I have never done and never will... I am a right old moan today ;D
-
With you on both counts Jacqui! Once did the Dalyan trip which went to the mud baths. Took one look and wouldn't go near them, mostly for the reason that Scunner mentioned above, but when you see some of the things people do in that mud!! :o No thanks! But each to their own.
Have never done a jeep safari either and never will, but that could be an age thing! ;)
-
we've done jeep safari, the mud bath on that tends to be a rather large round of mud, you then wash it off in the river (very cold river at that!!) All fun though, the better mud bath was at Dalyan it's a proper bath & facilities are good there, plus the lake & trip down the river past the tombs & the turtles are fab, another good trip out, i think we tend to use the excursion people next to the money exchange, but for the life of me cannot think what they are called

Don't think it is an age thing as my daughter would not consider either. Firstly, I would never sit in a load of smelly mud full of germs (and other things) from other peoples bodies. Then the Jeep Safari's the things that would worry me are all the accidents and fatalities from the Jeep Safari's the water pistol fights were you get soaked, no fun as far as i am concerned, but mainly the fact you would not be insured.
-
Jeep Safari is a bit more then water fights as you go to the trout thingy & stop at a few sights (ghost village I think, sacra an excuse my spelling where there is water tubing) that I would not otherwise of seen before finally relaxing on a beach before heading back, understand you're concerns as a bit crazy squirting water at one vehicle from another whilst travelling on a road but everyone (including older people I was 41 when I did it) seemed to enjoy cold water when it's so hot.
-
Did the mud baths a few years back. Great trip and never had a problem with any germs that might have been lurking in the mud.
-
Think the germs take 5 years to work Stoop the first symptom is your hair falling out. So watch out for that ;D ;)
-
We did the mud baths and I was horrified to the point of nearly throwing up :o. All that "mud stuff" squelching through your toes, not knowing who has p'd or worse in it.....YUK. And the smell???????? Not for me. We also had an amazing day on the Jeep safari. A lot of fun (and soakings) which done my hair no good whatsoever!

Anyway... to answer the question Carole and Tayfun do a trip to the mud baths on their Dalyan trip. I doubt it is necessary to book in advance but you can check out the full details here - £18pp

The hair was well gone before then :)

Yes Stoop, but you seem to have grown another head out of your back ;D :o ;)
If this is what the mud baths do, I am definitely not going ;)
