Title: Ece Saray Marina and resort
Post by: big cal on March 05, 2015, 13:25:19 PM
Hi,
My partner and I are staying at the above resort at the end of the month. We have not been to Fethiye before and would like to know
how far the hotel is from the Old Town and to the Dolmus bus station as we are going to take a visit to Uzumlu too.

It's a 5 - 10 minute walk to the Old Town and 15 - 20  minutes to the dolmus station. However you can catch a dolmus right outside the Ece Saray that'll drop you at the dolmus station.

Fabulous hotel - breakfast served on the roof overlooking the bay has to be one of the best starts to the day on the planet  :)

The walk to the old town is lovely along the marina too.

Its a lovely walk from the Ece along the Marina to where all the day trip boats moor up, and there are lots of bars and restaurants along that stretch....
Fethiye is a large town, although most of what you will want to see centres around the old town and the harbour and marina, all of which are within a few minutes walk.  A lovely hotel with a lovely bar on the waterfront....don't think you will be disappointed!

You have to walk out of the hotel, either along the marina or along the small road, to the main road to be able to catch the dolmus. The bar on the waterfront is unlikely to be open at the end of this month but drinks can be ordered from the other bar. If seats not put outside, just ask for them to be put out, the staff at Ecesaray are extremely helpful. Lovely hotel and as said previously, can't be a better way to start the day than enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast is very good, ask for omelettes etc to be cooked for you. Enjoy, I am sure you will!
