It's hard to believe but it's that time of the year again.

We have managed to have some fun with this for the last three years so I thought we could do the same again this year.

The way it works is that I will allocate each of the 40 runners with a number randomly.

Members who want to participate simply pick the number(s) between 1 and 40 they want. I then publish the list of the runners and the CBF member whose number corresponds to them just before the race.

The price of a horse this year is £ 5.00 (unless you want to make it something different :) ) and the winner will receive a prize to the value of
£ 20.00.

It's not too early to pick your number - so book early to avoid disappointment.

Please help the children if you can.

Proceeds going to the 3C's charity who have many projects on the go KKOB.

As the expert's on the ground I am more than happy to let them decide on which should benefit from CBF member's generosity.

You could drop it into the 3C's shop, open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 11am - 2pm & tomorrow 10 - 2pm. It's situated on Calis prom, under the Eyna restaurant.

Now without getting this horse in Highlander's game, I would never have backed this horse.

Finished a worthy 4th in the 2014 National, despite initially not even making the cut. Could do very well in 2015 as he will carry an ideal weight, is experienced over the fences, has previously placed and is the statistically the right age.

Rebel Rebellion.......
This season Rebel Rebellion has had seven races, winning at Ascot and Newbury, bagging a second place at Exeter and a fifth place at Aintree from the Grand Sefton Handicap Chase, which he won in 2013. A decent each-way bet as he’s always there or there abouts in the money.

With two races and two wins this season, Court By Surprise could be the surprise of this year’s Grand National. With nine wins or places from 15 chase starts and a second place finish at 3m5f, he is starting to tick some boxes.

Betfair rates him as 'Good' :angel:

Lets hope he has stamina and is a good jumper

My advice is always to bet the horse you draw in a sweepstake.I think you will see I recommended this early in the thread. However, re the lottery. I won £50.00 on it last week. :)

Not a big gambler she would only put 20 pence each way. So I went with my 40 pence to the bookies. Didn't know which horse to choose for her so I had her birthday 2nd October. Thank you Many Clouds!! I did put £1 each way for myself, and told the guy I would be back later for my winnings. His face was a picture when we went back. (Better than my 2 Donkeys, 1 none runner & the other fell at 1st fence..)..
