Does anyone know if there is a heated pool anywhere in Calis which can be used by guests? We tend to visit beginning and tail end of the season and both sea and outside hotel pools are too cold to enjoy. Possibly in a hotel? Don't mind paying to use it,  what about this big new hotel?

No way will they let you in the Sensatori to use the pools it is a very large resort strictly for paying guests.
The only place I know with a heated pool is the Tiryaki Boutique Hotel in Calls which is just off the Market road.
We have eaten there and it is lovely inside, but again, no idea if they allow folk to use their pool.

What a bunch of mamby pambies!  Are you all going soft?

"Freezing", "chilly", "nutcracker job" "heated pools" etc. etc.  These are descriptions that I honestly don't recognise about the water temperature- either in the sea or in swimming pools.

What??? 24 degrees and still chilly. That is probably warmer than the air temperature will ever get in the UK for the rest this summer! The Med in January will be warmer than the sea temperature ever gets around the UK.  And don't tell me you have never swam in those waters and enjoyed it at some point in your life.

My wife and I enjoyed swimming at Oludeniz in February and I was swimming in the sea at Calis last week.  I am no Lewis Pugh, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I reckon the temp was way over 20 degrees on both occasions.

Heated swimming pools? They are for wimps!

You might be on to something there, Pussinboots.

Perhaps all you softies should were wetsuits in the swimming pools AND in the sea!

I will defo try that Tiryaki...not sure where it is tho. I currently have an awful problem with achy joints for which swimming helps, but if the water is cold it makes it worse. We recently had a mini break in a caravan park and on entering the pool complex staff apologised that one of their pool heaters was broken and the pool was cold....only 25 degrees. That sounded warm to me so I ventured in.  I can assure you it was cold.

From the Main Street in Calis go right up the road away from the prom.  When you get to the Roundabout for the Sunday Market (with Aydin Pide) on the left, turn right go up the road and on the left you will see a sign to the
Tiryaki Hotet on the left hand side.

Take Jacquis directions, but shortly after Huner patisserie, when you get to Sok theres a gym and pool complex.
The pool is heated and available to use as and when.

Hi Kayakebab,  That place must be new?   Have you been?  what is the gym like?   As I got to the gym most mornings here, i was thinking I will go to the gym in Calis as we are coming for longer this time.
