Hey All,

My names Alex, I'm 21 and livin in North wales. I'm off to stay at Calis with 2 of my mates in exactly 21 days.. (504 hours / 30,240 minutes) an I'm slightly looking forward to it!

Does anybody know anything about the Hotel Aytur by any chance.. it's also part of the bambu bar or something?

Hi alex
         have a great holiday,not to put a downer on it but at 21 you may find this place a little quiet.You will however find plenty of bars and discos in Hissoronu and fethiye.
No doubt you will enjoy yourselves good luck

We've got a special species of sheep here in NORTH wales called the Llanvytheg-delburriadd Ewe. It's small enough the fit into hand luggage, so packing three into a suit case should be a doddle.. but thanks for your concern Tinx.

I've been warned that Calis is a bit more of a chill out area thanks GT, is it a lot of hassle to get to Fethiye or the busy areas?

Calis to Fethiye...bus -taxi- water taxi or staggering distance no problem....enjoy your stay

Chico,

Calis is def a chill out place but there are some lively bars and a couple of discos (clubs I think you call them now).

Fethiye costs about 50p on the dolmus or £1.00 -ish on the water taxi - each way. A taxi back will cost double after midnight (about £10.00 - £12.00 depending on the distance) but you can negotiate with the driver before you get in. They will always say they are on the meter but then when you have paid they will give you their card and say if you ring them direct they will do a special - no meter - deal for you. Find one you like and stick with him.

ps -- Tinx is only jealous 'cause he can only get one sheep in his case! The sheep gets a bit bored after a fortnight! ;)

there are lively bars in calis
more in fethiye
 if you want non stop pub crawling then up hisannarou you must go
young people love it,dancing on bars etc etc
beach at calis and olu deniz you must try both
enjoy your holiday

hI Chico, welcome to the forum, try some of the bars in Calis first, why pay taxis if the night life close to home does you, it may only be a small place, but there is plenty of life, besides, after a few raki sprites, it's nice that you don't have far to crawl. Alan

Hi Chico and welcome to the forum - you will find lively bars in calis and as number 2 says it wont be so far to get home (walking or crawling!!)  There are lots of reviews on the bars in calis on here have look at a few - you might be surprised.  You can even check out the forum bar via web cam  :-\
