Actually almost hit 4.14 a couple of hours ago.  Saying that, you'll never get close to that in the UK - 3.95 +/- a few kurus is the going rate just now.

It was the "market rate", saying that its dropped a bit back to 4.12 now.

You wont get a decent price in the UK, get it in Turkey.

Had I used my "good" overseas  at the same time as Wickwilly yesterday I would have got 4.07. So WW would have beat me; but only by 0.005% so I won't worry about that. So 400TL would have cost me £98.28. Had I used my bad overseas plastic (Santander 123) It would have cost me £103.00. Now I like the deal I get from Santander, but I don't want to pay nearly £5 every time I take £100-worth of my own money from an ATM.

Cheers JF I always get it in Turkey. So knew the rate there would be better, just  didn't know by how much, I am also in slight competition with a family member who's already Changed her money to cover her 2 holidays this year cause she's convinced the rate will drop, she got 3.89.....I'm not smug....not yet.
