I am aware there is a man who travels back to the Uk with a van delivering goods from Turkey. Anybody got information and telephone number.
-
We too are looking for this person, does he exist???

Probably sitting in jail with his van impounded by customs for making false declarations at the border...

Wasn't this a man called Steph from the card shop? (Which is no longer there)
-
He is still here the shop has moved..
-
Go past HSBC on your left and quite a bit up that road is the card shop on the right hand side, before Gold Computers which is on the left. Just ask for Steph
-
Gold Computers has in effect closed down now, they apparently only repair items on an appointment, drop off & pick up basis from the same building, no sales store. 8)

There's a fella called Jim Smith who posts on Facebook who's based in Bulgaria and is an agent for a UK based company that does regular runs between the UK and Turkey.
I never had any dealings with them myself but several people have said that it's a good service.

Word of warning re "Steph". He is not legal nor licensed to ply his trade, this is fact before I get accused of anything, use him at your own discretion knowing your goods are uninsured in the event of any damage.
(sits back & awaits the flack I got the last time I posted the same info!)
-
In the event of damage...or confiscation. Risky game our Steph plays but it is at your risk not his.
Be prepared to lose the lot and if you don't it's a bonus.
-
Same applies if he gets robbed or involved in an accident. No insurance.
