Title: Yoga or pilates classes
Post by: MrsT on June 03, 2015, 22:21:37 PM
Hi, does anyone know of either yoga or pilates classes in Calis or Fethiye.
I know that there is a yoga academy in Calis but the classes are in Turkish.
Coming out in a few days and really want to keep up with my yoga and pilates but no idea where to go. Any help greatly appreciated.

There is a Pilates studio on the Migros- Calis road, near a101, look for the large banner, it's purple, Özlem Pilates.
Of course the class may well be in Turkish  ;)

Yes, they are in the Gym on the Market road opposite A101.  We use that gym at the moment.  The owner who does all the training etc., does speak a little English.  He showed us the basement where the classes are held.. Very impressive.

A lovely Scottish lady called Suzie runs four yoga classes a week at the Sevin, on the right out of Fethiye towards Calis on the big Migros road.
Tuesday and Thursday mornings and evenings, and she does the classes in both English and Turkish as there is a mixed group.

She's currently in Thailand and I'm not sure when she's back, but I believe somebody is filling her absence with pilates classes.
Unfortunately I don't know if these are also in both languages as I haven't been for a few weeks.
