Got to be the Pines Restaurant on the Sunday Market rd, right opposite the Café inn which used to be good a few years back, but has gone downhill now I M O. ;) :)
-
the Pines in my opinion as well, one of my favourite days is Sunday we walk up to Pines have lunch then a slow stroll around the market then sit in Cafe Paza watch the world go by

In all the years coming to Turkey I have never felt the need for a cooked Sunday Lunch as for a few weeks can live without one. However, last year we bid for and got a Sunday Lunch at the Kings Garden at the 3C's Auction. We rang Salih and he came and picked us up. Have to say it was lovely. Just as good as the ones you get at home with huge Yorkshire Puddings and lovely lean tender meat. Three courses were all brilliant and bonus was the lovely breeze and fabulous views up there in the daytime.
We were also brought back again. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, there was not one thing I could find fault with. ;D
Although I would say that Sunday Dinner is for ex-pats who have been away from the U.K. for a long time. So ex-pats are the experts. They also don't want to spend too much money. :)

Agree with Desmartinson & Trainer, got to be Pines. Lovely food and great value.
-
We had a lovely lunch at the Wine House in Uzumlu last Sunday, 3 courses, the meat was lovely and tender, a choice of beef, lamb, turkey or chicken or a combination and then apple and blackberry crumble and custard for pud - great. It was really nice sitting out on the upstairs balcony overlooking the street watching the world go by.

If you want to stay local, Maria's is apparently good too.
-
We had a Sunday lunch at Maria's a couple of weeks back and we could not falter it 8)

must be the pines. excellent value for money.
-
I agree the Pines is excellent value for money, but the food at the Fessetta and Winehouse Umzumlu are much better quality as is Kings Garden

On many holidays spent fethiye &calis . We always went to the melody restaurant. Selma & Figo always very welcoming. We think the Sunday roast dinners are the best around. Recently they have moved because of building work. They are now in Koco calis just passed the Mekan restaurant which is the last restaurant on the beach.Well worth a visit very nice surroundings will always make sure that your food is excellent

I saw the Aydin Pide menu and a pic of the Sunday roast they will be doing looked very nice,ŵould also be interested in hearing what is was like if anyone gives it a try :)

I had a lovely roast beef Sunday lunch at Nil bar a few weeks ago, in my opinion better than The Pines, Cafe Inn, or Winehouse, and very reasonably priced
-
Well done Susie, with a recommendation like that, I think you have just become a ex pat life member of the nil bar, good lunch there I agree, but still Pines for me. :)

For quality & QUANTITY, I have to heartily recommend Melodi Restaurant, owned & run by the wonderful Figo & Selma. Lorraine taught Figo the " secrets " of Roast Beef & Yorkshire puddings, in fact Lorraine used to cook the joints at our property in Akarca, & then take it to the original Melodi in Fethiye !! Well worth a visit , not just on a Sunday, but any day of the week. Figo is originally from Erzerum, & we have, on many occasions, enjoyed some of the fantastic , authentic dishes from that area, BUT best to give him a little warning first, if anyone wishes to try these, as he will only cook them to order !!

First met Figo and Selma in 1997 when we came to Fethiye for a 2 week holiday Gordon, was the 1st Restaurant we ate in, Have been friends with them ever since, don't think they served Yoorkshire pud then, but will give it a try when I pop down to their new Restaurant at Koka Calis/ ;) :)

Are you picking on me Desmartinson? I don't see you being sarcastic to anyone else's recommendations
