I was amused by the entry for Erdogan in Wikipedia.

Erdoğan said in 2003, "I'm a Georgian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgian_people), my family is a Georgian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_%28country%29) family which migrated from Batumi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batumi) to Rize (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rize_Province)."

In a 2014 televised interview on the NTV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTV_%28Turkey%29) news network, he said, "You wouldn't believe the things they have said about me. They have said I am Georgian...even with much uglier things "

You shouldn't believe everything you read in Wikipedia, or the Turkish press, or what RTE says.........  ;)
