I see that Zeybekci talks confidently about increasing taxes next month but I am (continually) puzzled by Turkish politics. If Turkey doesn't yet have a government how come it has got ministers who are making important economic decisions? If AKP and MHP make a coalition perhaps it will be a MHP nominees as Economy Minister and not Zeybekci.

  How can the AKP declare new laws, continue ordering the arrest and persecution of anyone who

  doesn't agree with them, and organise the invasion of Syria if they didn't win the election and

  the country is waiting for a government to be formed.?   Or am I missing something.?

  Where are the opposition parties, why are they silent about this, and why does the President

  still appear to be running the country.?   Baffling.
