   Val Doonican has passed away, aged 88yrs. A great entertainer.  A great loss.  RIP

My Mum used to love his show on a Saturday night.   I suppose he had retired back to Ireland.

No, he lived in Knotty Green in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

Irreverent, but I still chuckle at Russ Abbot's impersonation of Val in a rocking chair with the rockers on sideways !!!
