Title: Which adverts do you hate?
Post by: SteveJ on July 06, 2015, 18:04:16 PM: There are a number of adverts on the TV at the moment which are so appallingly bad that I wouldn't buy from those companies even if they were the only ones to choose from, which thankfully defeats the object of the adverts. My list grows almost daily but the top three have remained constant for some time.....

Moneysupermarket - Dave in his denim shorts and big arse
Winner Bingo - ginger tw*t and an owl called Vicky
Hampson Hughes - Let me tell ya 'bout and accident I've 'ad

Arghhhhh, get them off my screen or the owl dies...

She's a weirdo. The Cow & Gate one with the laughing babies is soooo old now, I'm sure most of them will be at uni or have babies of their own!!

Why is it a rip off Jacqui ?

Many, many warnings in the press, on T.V. on the radio about this over 50's insurance with no medical and also no refund if you want to close the polcy.

I am beginning to lose it with the furniture advert HSL..the furniture looks anything but comfortable and one woman looks downright stupid sat up on a chair. unfortunately it sponsors one of the drama channels which we regularly watch so it is on at every break. Aaargh.

Why to these shops in the U.K. think they are doing us such a big favour by letting us have a sofa within two to three months....and are we are grateful???

Maybe it's just me.....I think the awful pronunciation is cleverly designed to grate - and it works.

Any genuine accent that drops aitches is no bother - but not this chap doing it.
