Gosh that's a bit of a shock. Sad news. Don't think she ever got over the death of her beloved Bobby.

 A very talented entertainer with the common touch. Not a bad singer either, with a string of hits.  RIP Cilla.

She will be up there with Bobbie, baby Ellen, John and George... together again.  R.I.P. Cilla.

If anyone has not seen the excellent three part series about Cilla's life starring the fabulous Sheridan Smith,  I would strongly recommend it.

agree with you 100%  Jacqui. a fantastic entertainer, someone  made a comment on here about  her singing, everyone of course has the right to their opinion. but I just listened to one of my favourites tonight . your my world 1964, had one of the best write ups ever. R. I. P. Cilla.

A great young singer she was back in the day. I'm sure she will be remembered as one of the sixties/seventies greats.

It was announced that ITV are showing "Cilla" starring Sheridan Smith later this week but not sure when   :-\

There is a rumour she went dizzy in the heat and fell and hit her head! How true we will have to wait and see.

The drama Cilla is not showing tonight at 9 oclock they are putting a programme on to celebrate her life.

The first post mortem was inconclusive so I'd say that rumour's been dispelled.

  Cilla's son has just reported that he has the "conclusive" post mortem results and a statement will be issued this afternoon.


  Saga Louts report was spot on, hitting her head caused a stroke, which killed her. A tragic loss.
