Title: Please help my son's Under 9 football team. 2 minutes of your time required.

Firstly, thankyou to Scunner for the kind permission for me to post this.

My son's football team Whittington FC, have applied for the Mars Milk fund. This is a simple case of getting as many votes as possible in August to secure £1000.

I'm not looking for donations in any way - people just have to click and vote. The more votes his team gets, the more chance his team can obtain £1000 from Mars Confectionery.

Please note: You DO have to supply a valid email address (I use a dedicated "disposable" hotmail/yahoo/outlook email specifically for this type of thing) and you WILL have to then verify the email address for the vote to count. It being Mars though, I doubt if you'll get too much spam as a result. The whole thing takes 1-2 minutes.

Thanks in advance. Kids football is more expensive than you might think for the parents and the opportunity of some "free" money to help with some extras for the club would be most welcome.

The club would like to purchase some land, but are situated slap-bang on the proposed HS2 route so are currently finding this somewhat difficult.
