Title: Anyone noticed the separated at birth couple one on CBF one in the Labour Party?
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on August 08, 2015, 10:47:05 AM
Everytime I see Jeremy Corbyn I cannot help but think he bears a strong resemblance to our Highlander.  Admittedly he is thinner, but apart from that, is there something we should know?

Or, maybe his appeal is as a man of substance and conviction who refuses to be drawn on the superficial and banal that we have come to expect from smarmy faced Etonian millionaires politicians and what passes for intelligent press but is mostly irrelevant drivel.

He may be a good and honourable politician and we cannot knock that but... Sexy.. Well lets see...66 years old, Married three times, (two divorces) does not spend a lot of money, rides a bike, has no car, is a vegetarian, a lifelong teetotaller, a cricket fan and an Arsenal supporter.
With that C.V. I am sure women will flock around him like bees around a honey pot, forget George Clooney.... Hold me back someone.  :)   ;D  ;)

Sorry Jacqui, but there you have it, the superficial and banal I was talking about    :)

But, you may be surprised how many people would find these facts you have gleaned from the "intelligent" press appealing and demonstrate a man with the courage of his convictions.

And obviously, as he has been married three times he's doing better than some in the eligibility stakes...

Yeah Nicola, but surely no-one who likes football can be sexy?

Surely saying someone like him is sexy, is superficial and banal?   I can find nothing sexy about this man.  I also found out about him by reading a piece on the net, did not get his details from the press.
I note his first wife said he was her soul mate.   Not sure what the two following wives think about that  :)
However, reading about his life I find nothing dynamic about him that would make me want to give him my vote.
I also think at 66 years old (when most men have retired) he is too old for the job.  What is needed is strong young dyanmic man to lead the Labour Party for the coming years.  Unfortunately, they don't have one in their ranks.  Not even a "Big Beast"

Colwyn,  I give you David Beckham, as sexy as hell and he loves Football,  now if he was standing for the Labour Party Leadership......

So, if it's written on the net it MUST be true ?

He has been married three times, he does not own a car, he does ride a bike he is a veggie.
He confirmed all these details himself on T.V. the other night.
However, no idea about the cricket, but, the Arsenal stuff is a conspiracy by the Gunners, perhaps USB and Des to make him sound vaguely  interesting.   :)

Yes, but I am not a journalist, merely someone trying to kick start a topic that no one showed interested in before I came along    :)

I think that proves Colwyn's point. If Beckham was in charge, the country would be right up to its neck in s**t.

I think we should get this topic back to the multi-married, 63 year-old sexy beast from Dingwall who has a lookalike who either used to do very good free kicks or is standing for leader of the Labour Party - I got confused back there with where we were going.

I have probably asked this before, but is this really  CBF forum, same old names pop up every day from the UK. Absolutely fine if its about Calis, but come on  who the hell cares about a CBF member and a prospective labour leader lookalike, One wears a Tartan skirt and no underwear  YUK ,how unhygienic . the other I haven't got a clue who he is, is he welsh, and if so does he fall down more than that other Welsh idiot on a beach, who wanted to win an election. with reference to him been an Arsenal fan, I hope he will admit to the best team (west ham ) won today, I can,  ;)  :)

"One wears a Tartan skirt and no underwear  YUK ,how unhygienic".

A simple question for you Des - were you referring to me ?

Trying to sneak in a thread that had nothing to do with Turkey in the "All things that have nothing to do with Turkey section" doesn't fool a high intellect chap like yourself, eh Des? You could spot it had nothing to do with Turkey straight away.

And tattoos would be compulsory.   ;)

So it would be up to its neck in tattoos, as well.

Des - I asked you a perfectly straightforward question.

Would you be kind enough to answer it.

" H " , can you remember " Toom Tabard " , from Scots History lessons ? If not, maybe something about " empty vessels " and lot of noise will sum up Dessy Boy ??

Des! Seriously! Had you been drinking, or have your recent spate of peculiar posts your way of trying to liven things up on CBF or should we be worried for your mental health?

In case the irony of your irony has been missed by you Des, one of the points made was that while you prod and provoke about the Calis Beach Forum being made up of people who post who don't live there (it's a resort website, not a website for expats there, by the way) your contributions are rarely to be found in the sections about Calis, Fethiye Turkey or expatness, they are around 85% posted in the Football and "All things that have nothing to do with Turkey" sections.

Of course that is fine - feel free not to post anything about Calis, while you post about people who don't live in Calis posting about Calis.
