Hooray! Next weekend we are coming back to Turkey, not quite to Calis but to Kayakoy instead. So not too far away! We're all so excited! Any top tips for things we should do? We packed in quite a lot last year; I think this year there might be more sitting and reading (or leaping in the pool). :) We already have a boat trip planned thanks to Wordbird. Woohoo! :D

Have a great time whatever you decide. Another 4 weeks for us to wait - impatiently. : :)

Four weeks for us too. Always holiday when the kids at back at school. We always go down to Kayakoy for lunch. Love the place. Apart from that, we do very little, that is just what we like to do. Read and relax, great.

I'll look out for you on the prom Jacqui - especially when we pass George's ;)

Yes, Bluwise, come over and we will buy you a drink, would be nice to meet you.
Kayakoy is about 30 minutes drive, but if you go by dolmus, I believe you have to go to Fethiye first then on to Hisaronu and then another dolmus to Kayakoy. However, you could get a taxi.
If you ring one of the restaurants out there, like the Istanbul or Muzzy's, they will come and pick you up and take you out for the day, they both have pools, just need to buy lunch and some drinks. They will also bring you back.

To get to Kayakoy from Calis, take a dolmus to Fethiye then there is a direct dolmus to Kayakoy every 1/2 hour. When you get to Fethiye (last stop at the big mosque), there will be someone there who will help you get on the direct bus rather than going via Hisaronu.
