Popped into the Cahide on baris manco as our previous 'local' was no more something to do with rent hotel on the premises wanted, anyway the Cahide is great for drinks if you're up by the Shanghai blues on baris manco, friendly staff great priced drinks, not a great food menu but a nice change, also seen that the 3 reviews on trip advisor all positive.

So glad someone has posted this topic. Cahide is a lovely little place. We made it our local last year as its only a short walk away for us. Good prices and run by a smashing couple who can't do enough for you. Lots of free nibbles as well. They really do deserve a helping hand, so if you haven't tried it yet,do it, you won't be disappointed. ;)

Our nearest drinking hole & they were great to the wife tonight who was suffering with cold/runny nose, made lemon honey/ginger tea thingy & gave us some to take back, last day tomorrow until next year but will defiantly use the cahide again.

We popped in today on our way back from Fethiye. A few guys watching the Aresnal v Chelsea match. Lovely welcome by the owner, who seemed a very nice man, had a chat to him. Good measure of Gin, in fact, big measure of gin, also some peanuts.
We were impressed and we have decided to go over for breakfast one morning as it sounds good. Thanks for the recommendation. Always good to find a new place.

Napkins Jacqui, napkins. ?? ;) ;)
Let us know how the breakfast's go.
-
Only had a G.&.T. so no comment on napkins.
Will be in touch with Breakast review. Already had two Turkish Breakfast this trip, we are really gettng to like them.
-
Sorry a bit off topic but Jacqui you must go to Kirk Pinar for Turkish breakfast. It's the best I've had anywhere in Turkey.
Will also be giving this new place a try when we're over. Anywhere a short stroll from our place is always welcome
-
Where is Kirk Pinar Anne??
-
Up Uzumlu Jacqui. Not to be missed

If you follow the road round the plateau - so head left towards Denizli, Kirk Pinar is on that road near Nif. Anne is right - nowhere comes close in Turkey when it comes to breakfast. It's a ramshackle looking place, without a recommendation you wouldn't see it or even if you did you wouldn't stop :)
Avoid Sundays, it's full :D

Must go with Anne on this one. Mrs Toky and myself had the good fortune of visiting this place with Anne and Billy. Absolutely wonderful Turkish breakfast and lovely people who run the place. Would never have found it if it wasn't for our wonderful hosts. As Keith has said when you first come across it you would not expect the what it has to offer. Highly recommend a visit

Well, too late for the breakfast, but sitting here now enjoyed a nice ham and cheese sandwich (with chips of course, Phil cannot manage without them). Now having a really lovely latte. They have a coffee machine and have to say this latte is the best.
Just watching the lightening and listening to the thunder, it is raining pretty hard too, but still nice and warm.
Think this place is going to be our new local..

Is this place what was the Corner Restaurant last year, sorry i cant place it although i probably went past it recently on the bus loads of times! Thanks :)
-
A bit further up BM towards Gunlukbasi - opposite Uckun Market / taxi rank
-
As Bluwises writes. Not the old Corner Cafe. Passed the Shanghai Blue and on the next corner, opposite Ay-De Market with Uckun on the other side

Hi Badger, wasn't ? you in cahide Friday night (group of 4) asking about the Hammers game if going to be shown, if so we were sat next to you. Flew home Saturday afternoon so spent all 16 days without a drop of Turkish rain, Hope the cahide is still in business next year.
