The dodecagon that is. But not until 2017. Of course, some of us have seen it before. We may even welcome its return.

It is going to cost a small fortune to change all the cash machines around the country, but I can understand it, as there are so many fakes in circulation.   I always like the old 3d so this will be good too.

Mention of cash machines confused me - is it a 12 sided note?

Jacqui - are you talking about £1 coins? Cash machines?

As usual - I'm blooming baffled. (a semi - permanent state for me it seems).

Bring back the "proper money"................farthing, halfpenny, penny, threepenny bit, tanner, shilling, florin, half crown, ten bob note, pound note, guinea (never seen one), white fiver,  What price would an Efes be if we returned to the old coin of the realm?

I got this through my business years ago.  However, recently put it on a local website and it caused a lot of interest and comments.  The younger members did not know what a slipper bath was.   It was explained it was when people did not have a bath in their home and went to the slipper bath to get one.  Note the prices in old money.
