Hi, we are returning again this year 20.07.16-03.08.16, and have rented an apartment at the golden moon complex. which I believe is behind the peace/ Diamond apartment buildings and a little further down that the aqua park. I am bringing my beautiful Reanna with me, who by now you all know has Down Syndrome. I have done all my usual checks and feel happy with where we will be.
However and here is my dilema, Reanna will need to contact her daddy who does not travel with us, only mummy, so we need internet connection at the apartment. We understand there is a cafe near by cafe Pazar I think, but as these calls are made on an evening it would mean taking Reanna back out again after we have got settled for the night. Does any of you know if there is anything close by where (for a price) we could connect to wifi? Anyone on here know anyone who lives there who would (for a charge) let us use their internet so Reanna can skype her daddy?
Thank you in advance

Not sure about the Golden Moon but most hotels now have Wi-Fi and most bars have it too and free
-
I think you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere in that area that hasn't got wi-fi these days.
-
Golden Moon has its own WiFi
-
Golden Moon Apartments are not Golden Moon Hotel and are a long way from the hotel's wifi...

I agree that there a large number of local bars and restaurants that offer wi-fi good enough to skype on, subject to the usual internet problems in the whole of Calis/Fethiye in the high season. If you are not able to find anywhere near where you are holidaying that offers wi-fi. Just in case I am pm'ing you my phone number and you can call us and pop round and use our wifi. We are located about ten minutes from the beach, and more than happy for you to use ours.

oooohps should have said, no charge either, particularly as I've got unlimited.

What a lovely gesture UBT! :D
-
Very kind UBT - I think the point is that the internet is needed quite late into the evening and too late to be needing to get ready and go out again.
What about one of the MIFI devices - that would do the job within the apartment - wasn't there a management company renting them out on a weekly basis? Can anyone remember who and maybe contact them (or let me know who it is and I can)?

Lovely gesture UST..
There is a company in Ovacik or Hisaronu Keith who rents the wifi modems out I think its around £35 a week i believe its unlimited i dont know how much Skype would use up as I have never skyped..
I will try abd find the chap,s details later and post back for Mamion :)

Wow! Thank you everyone for all your advice especially UBT. Such a generous offer. If we don't get stuck & we can find you then we may take you up on your generous offer.
Also thank you karennina if you do find anything regarding something we can use in the apartment I would be very grateful.
Again I thank you all very very much. Any further help & advice would also be gratefully appreciated

Who have you booked the apartment with? We booked apartments and the company offered wi fi dongles for hire, not being techno not sure if this is what you would need. Hope you get sorted.

I have had a look and Fads says he hires out the wifi modem for £10 a week ( i am sure it was more then this last yesr) not sure if that includes the gbs probably not for that price..
He says he delivers free of charge to where you are staying.
I bought one last year and they are fantastic, im the same as you cant be bothered to walk out of a night if iv got settled, if im on my own i sit and chat to my hubby in uk via wats app, a brilliant piece of kit, its just like a small mobile phone...
