I love Imogen! (My granddaughter  ;D)  I do know what you mean Colwyn and I wish they'd stop giving these things names! It's all become too silly.

I like it being named. I find it therapeutic to have something to focus my rage against.

On Thursday we are going off to St Ives for a few days as a little holiday before my birthday. Today the waves there are over 60 ft high. Should be interesting. Still the gusts here seem to have dipped below 60mph so that's good eh?

Well we have had Imogen, then comes Jake, I don't know what J will be, but after that it will be a real humdinger of a mad storm. Apparently it will be called "Lotty".

I can't see the point in naming them individually either. They ought to group them all together and call them "Winter".

  As we speak Cyclone Winston is hitting  Fiji.  So alphabetically it's all gone t#ts up.     ;)
