Surveyors with Ordnance Survey have discovered that the height of Ben Nevis is 1345 metres, not 1344 metres, as was thought for years.
Couldn't wait to share this earth shattering news with you. :o :o So size DOES matter after all. !!

Isn't the real story that all that time ago, with limited technology, those guys got to within a metre of the actual height of something over 1000 metres high?

If it's 1345 metres above sea level, what sea level do they mean, because the level rises and drops with the tides ?

I think the real story here is Ben. Thanks to this astounding discovery thousands more ascendants will go the extra metre. :)
