Here is a picture of my neighbours wonderful display of roses here in Calis.

Stunning are they not? And the roses everywhere around Calis and Fethiye are looking truly beautiful this year, as they are every year. Especially the deep - blood - red ones.

Many of the bougavillea (?) Have died over the winter on our complex, anyone else lost theirs?
Those roses are lovely

I have observed in the past, the clay soil on the wonderful spuds they have there, just the same as the Cyprus spuds. This would explain the fab conditions for roses there as they like claylike soils, on past hols there I have admired the lovely healthy roses without any greenfly, maybe too hot for the critters.

Not a rose to be had as yet, but due to the mild winter I have a geranium on my decking that has not yet stopped flowering from last summer.

Our geraniums are taking over !
