Awful, shocking news.  What a very funny and talented lady she was and passed far too young.

RIP Victoria and condolences to her family and friends.

We saw Victoria perform in a village hall in Staffordshire sat on wooden school type chairs.
She was the backup artist and completely unknown. Jasper Carrot was the main act.Again unknown. It was over 40 years ago and have never laughed as much as I did that night since.Very sad news.

Now this is very sad news.  She had enormous talent, whether as a writer, performer or musician.  A real loss to both the entertainment industry and the nation, but boy has she left us with an enormous legacy of truly exceptional work.  My favourite of which is Dinnerladies.  I have probably watched most episodes ten times over, but it still makes me both laugh and cry... she'll be missed by us all.
