I met a lovely couple on holiday here .First time visit and they are staying at the Java Beach hotel .The wife is severely disabled and in a wheelchair. They told me the Hotel is beautiful food is excellent and the staff could not be more helpful . Only complaint is the difficulties he has found in travelling around as the area is not exactly wheelchair friendly but they both love Calis so at least the current "scares" aren't putting everyone off from coming to visit .Thought anyone going to this Hotel might be interested in their comments.

I could not agree more with there comments.I have stayed a few times at the Jiva and it is one of the best in this area for their service and food and drink plus the prices are very cheap compared to other hotels .

They have been offering £30 per person per night all inclusive - I've met a few first-timers to the area lately who were attracted by their deals.
The fear of a terrorist attack can be overcome by the love of a bargain, it seems!
Anyway, everyone I've spoken to has given it rave reviews, as did friends who stayed there last year. :)

Whereabouts was the offer where they were offering £30 a night stay Wordbird do you know please? Thanks...
-
I don't, Karennina, sorry - I was just chatting to some people I met and they said that's why they'd come.
:(

Karennina, we booked 2 nights May 9 and 10 AI pool view room £96 in total for both of us. This was with booking.com a few weeks ago

Slightly off topic but I was at my local co op yesterday and the travel section were advertising 7 night all inclusive's to
Turkey from Brum at £ 235 all in and 7 nights in Kos from Brum at £158 all in. I've only booked flight only's to Turkey
but that seems cheap to me.

trying to watch for flights in august and they are stupidly high at the moment, far more than last year., me thinks i will sit and wait quietly.

Thanks fir replies I was just curious as we just had two ( fab) nights at Jiva we were originally booked to stsy for one but wanted to stsy a second night they quoted me £60+ at reception so i got on the net and booked it for £ 45 so its nit always cheaper to book direct with the hotel!
I just windered where it had been offered at £30 a night as never seen it that cheap not to actually stay the night...
-
I messaged them on Facebook and was quoted £103 a night for attic room and upto £151 per night for swim up room in September, to much for me
-
Looks like we got a good deal then
