Title: Abandoned Puppy
Post by: phil5257 on June 21, 2016, 08:52:24 AM
We arrived home last night to find a small black puppy sleeping on our balcony. The neighbour gave us some food for it and we just left it outside overnight expecting it to have gone by this morning, however it was still there.
Any suggestions as to what we can do with it? We live near the market in Çaliş on the of chance that anybody has lost one!

Happens quite a lot, someone dumped a puppy in our neighbour's garden last year and someone else dumped two kittens next to the bins.
Contact Animal Aid and see if they can help.  The did take the kittens last year and very kind friends who live locally took the puppy.

The Catalarik Road is the road to Uzumlu. Cross-over the D400 heading for Uzumlu, go through Catalarik on the Turgut Ozal Cad. past the big school on your left, and you'll see the big wood storage yard on the right. The fire helicopter is often parked there. Immediately after that, on your left is the entrance to the shelter just before the entrance to a large new building. If you come to the Omer Ozyer Lisesi on your right, you've missed the entrance by a couple of hundred metres.
