Hi my name is Rachel and husband Steve we have 3 girls. In April we purchases a villa in Kalkan and would welcome any advise.

Never been to Kalkan but heard it's a lovely place

Hi - welcome to the Forum.  We stayed in Kalkan about 5 years ago - we loved it. We hope to go back for a quick visit when we get the chance - I hope it hasn't got too comercialised.  We used a lovely pub near the market called the Swan - it was run by a Turkish family who had previously lived in London. They made us feel part of the family-I really wish we had kept in touch with them.
Where is your villa? Knowing how steep the hills are I bet you have a fabulous view!

Welcome to the forum stayed in Kalkan twice very pretty but those hills are a killer.
