Title: Women Party Leaders
Post by: Daffodil on July 11, 2016, 12:33:56 PM
I am amazed that the leadership of the political parties is looking to be so many women. In Scotland and now both the Tory and Labour leadership is increasingly being challenged by strong  women candidates.

Let give her a chance.  I like the idea of women being leaders and she is also flying the flag for Diabetics after Michael Gove put the word out she could not be a good P.M. Because she was a Diabetic, something, I don't think anyone knew before and IMHO did not need to know.

Angela Eagle could beat Jeremy Hasbyn to lead what's left of the Labour Party, just to complete the female domination.

If Gove had won another woman would have been running the country.  His missus. !!

I conclude that Theresa May will be an awful Prime Minister - but that any other Tory MP would have been worse.

None of the current, or former MP's have covered themselves in glory over the last few months. The people deserve better.

I would like to see Farage on the negotiating team. He leaves a lot of the MP's in the shade

I don't think Farage is fit to be on the dart team at his local - let alone be captain. He'd be drunk before the match started!

Now that is a surprise for a dyed in the wool Socialist.

Farage got us something Tony blair's Labour Government promised us before 3 elections only to renage on.   A Referendum.

Someone pointed out those broken promises to Alistair Campbell last week. His response was " and now you can see why we didn't

keep them".   Democracy at it's best. !!!
