Title: September weather?
Post by: carlchris on August 21, 2016, 18:02:49 PM
This will be our 6th visit to Calis. In the past we have gone in May or June.  Arriving on the 15th September. 24 days and counting....... Please could you tell us if it is still very hot then.
Many thanks, Chris  8)

We used to go May & September and found the weather very similar in both. If you like May, September will suit you too  :)

It'll likely be in the 28C to 33C range.

Hot enough? :D

As stated by Menthol - I've had many years of September (occasionally May) visits.

Twice visited in mid/late July where I suffered - too much for me, reaching late 30's.

For September I work on a few degrees either side of 29.

Sea breeze makes it more bearable than inside, dusty streets where it feels like 35+ (i.e. the 5th circle of Hell).

I often take a motorcycle - usually "upwards" - where it becomes most pleasant.

Menthol didn't mention that you visited in September at all Stuart

Ouch!!

15 love.....

You're correct, of course.

Unnecessarily cruel but I have no defence.

I must, I must, improve my English!

I'll try again -

"Confirming that which Menthol formerly advised regarding his own experience........."

(Beeyatch is what you is, innit)

As Scunner says September is very similar to May but I always prefer September as the pool and the sea are warmer.

Is it "dig fast and dig deep"?

I'm going back into my hole.

Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell..............

Changing my user name to Hobbit.

(Sorry Menthol).

"Stop digging" might be more appropriate Stuart!   ;D  ;D  ;D

Forgive me again for this, Menthol.......

"........nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat. It was a hobbit hole and that means comfort"

I'm still digging, aren't I?

(Bilbo Baggins).

Back to September weather before I'm excommunicated.

Menthol - a bit naughty.

However you saved me spending £3.99 on a dvd this weekend!

What this has regarding September weather, I have no idea.

Warm, innit?

Hi all,
We're coming 12 September - been at this time before - perfect weather! Early June and late May were also perfect this year.
