Title: Efes
Post by: Lynn25 on August 28, 2016, 09:40:52 AM
I can't believe it's nearly September and I haven't seen the usual "how much is a large Efes" question! We've had exchange rates so humour me.....How much is a large Efes this year? Also any recommendations for a decent red wine, something similar to a nice Rioja or Chianti?? Many thanks.

Yes philrose have to agree, I have a taste for the Tuborg Amber, but will be looking forward to trying the blonde and amber beers in the picture. Are they available in the bars or just supermarkets? A decent red wine is Majestic. They also do a white wine as well. It was about 22 TL last time we bought some in September.

Amber beer really seems to have taken off and is pretty much available everywhere. The Efes Brewmaster series is available in the bigger supermarkets, the only bar I have noticed them in is the Meri...

Efes price depends on where you drink it. Around 6 lira in the shops, anywhere between 8 and 14 in the bars and restaurants (Calis/Fethiye area)....

I don't think you will find anywhere that cheap now. The alcohol tax went up in June...
