  Actor Gene Wilder has passed away aged 83. A fine comedian and actor. He featured in some hilarious films.

  A sad loss.  RIP

Leaves so many moments that will live forever - the scene when they pretended they were big bad types in the jail in Stir Crazy being one of my favourites

Yes, a fine actor as you say. Will always remember him as Willy Wonka though he played so many other different parts.

  Blazing Saddles was a classic, i've got it on DVD.  Every member of the PC brigade should be made to watch it.

  Wilder, Brooks & Prior were made for each other.
