Title: Clinton and Trump
Post by: Daffodil on October 10, 2016, 02:06:32 AM
It is amazing to me that a country the size of America comes up with these two candidates for the presidency.

If Trump wins we will have a paranoid meglomaniac in charge of the world's biggest arsenal. That doesn't make me feel nice 'n cozy.

I know the local girl that has worked as his P.A in Scotland.   When she was pregnant he was going to give her two months off until she informed him about the laws of maternity leave in the U.K.  He was not happy.

Last night the Donald held a rally in Florida and urged all his supporters to turn out and vote for him on 28th November.

The election is on the 8th of November. !!!!!               Doh.!!              ;)

You simply could not write what that muppet comes out with. :(

He may be "a muppet", but he's the richest, the most ruthless and (street) smartest muppet you'll come across.

He may have had a better campaign if he had Jim Henson onside with his speech writers...

Recent polls seem to show Trump with a substantial lead among men but Clinton with a massive lead among women. Rah,rah for American women: save the planet!

I strongly dislike the Washington/US political system, money dictates, (I know, I know) but I think Hilary Clinton

is as qualified as any of today's US politicians and has a record of defending the lower classes. I would like her to

become America's first woman President and i'm hoping Trump damages his Republican Party in his spiteful rants

sufficiently enough for them to lose the House. If the Democrats win both Houses the Gun Laws have a good chance

of being greatly improved and poorer folk will have a good chance of receiving a fairer deal. With a good majority

she will kick a few kennels.     Keep up your venom Donald.      ;)  ;)

Melania Trump reminds me of Cruella Deville. Apparently she has forgiven Donald for his remarks but thinks that it was not his fault as he was encouraged by a news man. I wonder , if he is so easily egged on, if he is suitable to be president? Apparently Melania has quite a shady past herself though.

Does no-one on this forum support The Donald? Since Nigal Farrage supports him, and members have expressed an admiration for Farrage in the past, I would have thought some people might be talking about "Breath of fresh air", "We need non-politicians to run the country", "The establishment is corrupt"  and so on.

Since Nigel Farrage attained his goal and took us out of the EU he seems to have lost interest in UKIP.

Since Nigel Farrage attained his goal and took us out of the EU he seems to have lost interest in UKIP.

He attained the goal he was seeking, a Brexit vote and the downfall of "Call me Dave", and now he's moved-on. Good on him.

I was wondering about CBF members - not that self-serving charlatan and mountebank Farrage.

Trump has his problems but how anyone can trust Clinton is beyond me.

I don't know that anyone really trusts Clinton. It is just she is a not a dangerous meglomaniac like Trump. By far the better of two bad options - but the only real options there are.

Farage went down in my estimation by appearing on Trumps platform (where he did not endorse him) but

I still think he is a brilliant orator and politics need more like him. I think Trump will get the kicking he deserves

on the 8th and hope he keeps his promise to take his fellow Republicans down with him. Can you imagine if

Corbyn ever got into No 10 ?  Our arsenal would be emptied and turned into State owned white flag manufacturer.

Is Trump the victim of demonic possession?

Imagine us having to choose between Farage and Clegg for PM.

That's the sort of choice the Septics have got with Trump and Clinton.

Presumably The Donald won't contest the Election Result if he wins - or would he   ;)

or would he    ;)
No, I think he would claim single-handed success in cleaning the Augean Stables of American politics. Let us fervently hope that we never get a chance to test my prediction.

The Donald has just announced on CNN, via a rally in Ohio, that he will " accept the election result absolutely if I win "

Utter disgraceful slimeball. Another woman has today accused him of assaulting her at a tennis tournement in New York.

I sense a very expensive divorce in the not too distant future.
