Title: Gary Lineker
Post by: stoop on October 21, 2016, 13:31:24 PM
Not sure what to think about this guy. Yes he's a good presenter and was a good striker but his Twitter page seems to make him think he's got the right to call anyone who questioned the age of those 'children' the Home Office let is as racist.

I find that offensive.

"The treatment by some towards these young refugees is hideously racist and utterly heartless. What's happening to our country?"

Where is the racism ? The overpaid bleeding heart is getting confused with ageism. What's he doing.? how many

is he putting up in his properties.? How many is he giving financial support to.? The lad from Calais who "broke

Lily Allans heart" has today been reunited with his father in the UK. Why didn't his father go to live with him in

Calais if he was vunerable and at risk.?     Because they all know we are a soft touch.

France has child welfare officers, border control officers, police and security officials. But they know we'll do their job

  for them.    >:(

Gary Lineker gets four million pounds per year to sell crisps.  This apart from all the other lucerative contract he has with T.V. Companies.

Lily Allen is safely tucked up in her £ 2.5 million London home. Her flagging career got one day of free publicity in Calais.

And why shouldn't he.?

Just stating a fact,  no comments made.   Maybe he makes large donations to the Refugees?? Who knows?

People with lucrative careers rarely live near refugees, just lecture others who do live near them. I worked near to Yarls Wood,Clapham near Bedford and remember seeing the refugee centre burning down the day it was built. It cost millions and the place had only been open one day. The refugees soon put a torch to the place.

I think Gary Lineker has the right to say what he thinks.

Just as I have the right to say that I think he's an over-rated, over-paid twat.

If YOU'RE going to insult someone, at least have the grace to get the grammar correct.

Like what I does.

Is Gary Lineker offering a bedroom or two to a few refugees?

He's offered them out-of-date Smokey Bacon flavoured crisps.

Seemingly, many of the refugee children are being allowed in to be reunited with their parents in the UK.

I don't always agree with kevin3's views but he's made a strong and valid point -  could not the(ir) parent(s) have travelled to France to be reunited with the child?

Maybe I don't understand the whole picture, here.
