I learned to correctly pour a milk/juice carton today...almost 56 and I didn't know how. I had being doing it wrong..opened carton, tipped up and poured out the same side of the plastic lid,and usually splashed it every where..well you don't.. you  pour it in the furthest direction. I thought it was going to make one big mess..but it didn't spill a drop..I know..... you're welcome :-* ;D

Same with tin foil on a roll.  I only found out last year that you push in the perforated side at each end (never even noticed the perforated sides) and they hold the roll when you use it.
