RIP Andrew. Very sad :(
-
Re brand/ Ross they would be better keeping their heads down and shutting to bleep up. Pair of reprobates, thought thon garbage was funny. Shame on them for even thinking about doing that to that man.

I learned yesterday that Andrew Sachs played Dr. Watson in a very long running radio Sherlock series. Just one of the many platforms for this outstanding voice actor. Of course, he will be best remembered for a meagre 12 episodes of Watery Fowls/Flowery Twats/Fawlty Towers but so much other work as well. RIP.
-
I also understand that he wrote a play which consisted only of sound effects.
A multi talented man.

At the risk of being shot down in flames but why do people keep relating Andrew Sachs to Russell Brand and Jonathon Ross yes I know about the phone call on the answering machine but it was 8 years ago now! They apoligised and Mr Sachs accepted their apology...

That says it all. Heartbreaking.
-
This week it would be good to focus upon the the achievements of the deceased and the pleasure these gave.
-
As the one who introduced Brand and Ross to the thread I would agree with Colywn's suggestion.
My apologies.
-
Sorry Highlander i did not mean to be unkind and obviously I know Brand and Ross are not everyones cup of tea but some of the comments I have come across on the internet about the two of them since hearing Andrew Sachs had sadly passed away have been really terrible, it just seems a shame that Mr Sachs is being remembered partly for that...
-
Brand and Ross. They must be the arse holes that Bernie was talking about. 8)

I agree with you colwyn, but I can't help the feelings that I have for these "comedians "
