They say electrical fault. Owned by a Doctor but cleaner was inside and suffered smoke inhalation.

we stayed with Handan and Dr Erdogan some years ago - lovely people....one of the best Turkish holidays ever. Do hope no one was hurt - and that they had insurance...and how do you put a fire out with  no fire engine>

On the morning it happened John saw smoke when walking our dog. He walked further to se where it was coming from.
Lots of small boats were going across to help with hoses to connect to the hydrants over there.
The fire was isolated to that one house.
Does anyone know if Geri really has a property there?
The large blue glass one rumoured to be hers is totally empty.

I keep reading on various places on the net that she does own a place there, but keeps a very low profile.  However, it must be very low, never read of anyone seeing her in town.

Why don't you send her an invitation to one of your Candlelit Suppers ? I'm sure she'd be tempted to come at the thought of Richard Phillip serenading her with one of his salty sea shanties as he rowed her across the bay.

Compared to the days when Crabbit and Lance were posting their behaviour is not too bad!
