Post by: Ally B on May 21, 2017, 16:15:41 PM: Saw at least four warships heading into Fethiye this afternoon. Anyone know whats going on?

It's one their annual exercises in the Aegean and Mediterranean.

They've probably hired in civilian ships. Just the same as our Navy does when they go on exercise or, for instance, to The Falklands in'82.

That is a concern, as Turkey doesn't have any nuclear submarines ;)

Was told that supposidly Turkey have an assortmant of 12 submarines! Maybe it was'nt turkish but part of a Nato force, l just assumed it was turkish, but was certainly sat in Marmaris harbour for a few days.
