I think that half the people will advise you to buy now, the remainder will say wait.

About 50% of them will turn out to be correct.

( I have posted some thing very similar to this in the past, but it always turns out to be pretty accurate. Most of the time. )

But the advice "Buy in resort" will always prevail, no matter what the exchange rate is. ( Usually )

I predict that it'll be over 7.5 in Turkey in May.

I don't believe anyone on here can accurately predict what the exchange rate will be in 9 weeks time.

It will however be a better rate in Calis than at home.

Anyone can predict H. Whether or not they are correct is an entirely different matter.

It's a bit like all those people who predict the winner of the Grand National.  ;)

Thanks for the time taken to reply, think I’m just worried with rate being quite high still that it may drop as the season goes on, suppose it’s a chance you take and I’ve never known rate to massively drop as the season hits full swing unless I’ve missed a year somewhere

I think our posts must have crossed KKOB as I edited mine to read accurately predict.

I always tend to buy in resort as that was the advice given to me when I first started coming about 10 years ago and spot on advice too.   However, I know there are elections coming up - does that tend to affect it drastically in such a way that it stays around that level over the coming few months.   I am not out until June and as the rate is good for a holiday maker just wondered if for the first time I should buy in the UK.  As an aside,  I remember when I first came in 2009 the rate was 2.19!

Do you also have the winning Euromillions numbers as well please, as they must come from the same CLOUDY Crystal ball you are looking into  ;D  ;D
