Title: Its been a while....

So I'd like to know how much things cost these days as it's been about five years since we were last in Turkey?
Family of 3 adults, eat out 3 times a day.
Private boat trip. Anything else you can think off thanks.

Been told Calis boats are 100 lira per person, minimum 10 people, so 1000 lira to hire privately for up to 10.

If I remember Robw we paid 60tl for a bottle of wine with our meal which was around 40-45 tl for a main. That was mostly on the front.

Water taxi was 7.50 and dolmus 2.75.

Sounds like value for money still as long as the exchange rate stays as good as it is?

When we visited on September when the rate as around  8.00 we expected the prices to have risen pro rata but can't say we found that to be the case.

All relative of course.

The other week at Lemon2, a lot of the main courses were 29 tl and a large glass of white wine was 18. The steak stuff was around 54. All due to increase at the end of April with a new menu .

At Arties fish and chip shop we can have scampi and chips, small fish and chips plus 3 wines for 100 tl.

Last October it was great - meals of all budgets worked out to be far better value in Pounds, also things that have rised in (TL) price quite a lot over the years (water taxi etc) were now back to the equivalent price of many years ago.

The most noticeable change was taxis - we have avoided them for years due to the ridiculous prices - now they are ridiculously cheap  :)

We were getting 7.60ish last October so not far different to 7.24 today.

You'd be hard pushed to get 3 wines in a restaurant in the UK for 100 tl (£16) these days.
