Title: Fire Dalaman Area

There was a big cloud of smoke over Calis this evening
seemed to be coming from Dalaman anyone know anything
about it?

Yep. Big fire in the woods close to the Dalaman animal sanctuary. Several helicopters, 20 - 30 firetrucks, volunteer firefighters etc fighting it. Pretty serious by the sounds of it.

The animal sanctuary are begging for local volunteers to go there and take the animals away to safety incase it spreads.

Just read on the Hayed international page that the animals have all been rescued from the shelter. Hope their aren't any fatalities and people manage to get to safety.

We just came in from Dalaman, Large fire can be seen from Gocek, hope the get under control and everyone is safe

Seems there is another one ablaze now near Camkoy 😱
I feel it for the poor fire fighters. They must be totally exhausted.
Hopefully they manage to contain it quickly
